This summer I spent most of my weekdays at Bronte Provincial Park. These are some of the friends I made. I am wet from all the frantic splashing of dogs trying to get treats - but these are the things you will put up with to get a good photo. I'm rarely in photos because I am usually the one behind the camera. This was one of the most relaxed enjoyable summers that I have had in my adult life. I'm not sure I will ever have another like it so I'm glad I have a few nice photos to remember it by.

Questions.

Sometimes you look back at a photo and wonder what the heck you were doing. This is one of those photos for me. Why am I holding my camera this way? What is with my two finder hold? I'm also wondering why nobody loved me enough to mention that some of the "blond" streaks in my hair had turned green.
I do like the nice pink in the background.
The Valley of Fire - Navada

My dad took this shoot of me our trip to Vegas. Most people go to Vegas to gamble so when my non-gambling parents called to see if I wanted to go with them my automatic response was "why are you going there?!" Turns out there are loads of amazing places to see in and around the city. The Valley of Fire is fascinating. If you ever find yourself in Vegas be sure to check it out.
(I wish I still had this tan...)
Algonquin - Oxtongue Falls

Oxtongue Falls is a beautiful place just outside of Algonquin Provincial Park. Waterfalls are one of my favourite things to photograph so I was thrilled when I got this shot.

This is Jazz. I used to walk her 3 days a week while her owners were at work. She has very selective tastebuds and wouldn't eat any of the treats I brought her from home. She only likes all natural or organic dog treats. The more expensive the better. I suppose her expensive taste goes very nicely with her leather jacket... funny but true.
